another night another hotel. I love a hotel that has refused to get rid of these bedside radio alarms that are attached to the walls. It harks back to an age where we probably all believed this was state of the art, most of us who remember, probably lusted after something like this in our own teenage bedrooms, of course that was when the radio actually offered us something of substance. alas, its radio 4 all the way these days and the book at bedtime is occasionally a place of solace in an otherwise ever increasing void of bland manicured shite., fuck I've found myself regularly dipping into radio 2, where did it all go wrong?
john peel we miss you.
still I'm in a hotel with a funky radio alarm, I'm tempted to set it for the early morning farmers program just to see if it actually works.
today the weather got better and I started to wish I had a bike with me, another weird thing happened, I found myself for the first time in my life having perverse thoughts about a Trek, the trek in question was a 5.2 this is a really nice bit of kit, something I have had trouble in saying about most Trek bikes, I already have a nice road bike, but if I was thinking of racing I can put my hand on my heart and say I would definitely have one of these on my probable lists. If only they did a nice Record version!
come on Trek embrace some Italian flare,
its nearly the weekend and low and behold its started raining again,
bah humbug once more.
